Coronavirus Covid-19 - information for our customers

It's a while since we last updated you on how we're dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak. That's because nothing much has changed for us as a business.

We are extremely fortunate, as a family concern, to have been able to continue to trade safely throughout the pandemic. We shall continue to do so as long as we stay fit and healthy and the postman keeps coming.

We have noticed deliveries taking an extra day or two here and there - both incoming and outgoing. We're told by our postman that they are dealing with Christmas levels of business, but with only half the number of staff, due to social distancing regulations and self-isolating colleagues. We have maintained good stock levels, and our service continues to operate effectively and efficiently.

We are singers too and, in common with all our customers, we have found our musical lives disrupted. Concerns over the safety of singing - in choirs especially - mean the prospect of returning to rehearsals and live performance is somewhere over the distant horizon. It is unbelievably frustrating, but it is as nothing compared with those who are ill with Covid-19, those who have lost loved ones, and those on the frontline of healthcare who daily put themselves at risk to minister to others' needs. We thank God for them.
