Help Finding Music 

If you are looking for music for a particular instrument, use the menu at the left of the screen to browse down to that instrument.  This will restrict your searches to your chosen instrument and make the search results shorter.  You can then use the search box  facilities to find a particular piece or book.

Here are a few tips to help you find your music...

1.  Use as few keywords as possible - individual words are better than sentences

2.  Check that your keywords are spelt correctly

3   If you are not sure how a  word is spelt, use the start of the word - eg Rach for Rachmanoff

4.  You can search for an exact phrase by linking words with the plus sign - eg mini+book

5.  We catalogue our composers using only their surnames - don't enter their full names

6.  If you enter a list of words, we will search for items containing ALL the words, if you separate them with OR we will look for items contain ANY of the words.  eg Bach OR Brahms. 

7. Our general aural and theory books can be found by searching under "All Values" from the home page

8.  For music on exam syllabuses, try the "Purchase Music for my Exam" option from the Home Page
